Serto aluminum fittings for lightweight and cryogenic applications

You can think of aluminum fittings when weight savings and performance at low temperatures are essential. Aluminum as a base material is ideally suited for light weight connections, in addition, it is strong, chemically resistant, conducts heat very well, and is widely available in the market.

In order to make aluminum suitable as a material for mechanical components, they are often anodized during manufacturing processes . When is aluminium a good alternative to brass, PVDF or stainless steel?

The aluminium (AW-6082) program of Serto

The well-known metal-to-metal seal principle of Serto allows radial (de) mounting on drawn aluminum pipes and plastic pipes. The compact design with minimal seperated components and minimal risk of electrochemical corrosion makes this program an ideal complement to the existing program.
